Dear CGNA Members,
We are proud to support your professional development and promote excellence in practice through CGNA’s own peer-reviewed journal, Perspectives.
We publish 3 times per year, and each issue is filled with articles by nurses like you. Our authors work in the community, hospitals, research and specialized services, and range from national leaders to first time authors. Our last issue had articles on intergenerational programming, undergraduate nursing students, and relational care in long term care. This month, we are publishing an issue with a special focus on Indigenous Elders. Find past issues on the website, here. You can also search online through ProQuest and EBSCOhost.
We are seeking more articles from nurses working with older adults! We would especially like to hear about your quality improvement projects and work by nursing students. Learn what goes into a submission in our Guidelines for authors, here. Once you submit your article, our reviewers and editors provide feedback on how to get your work perfected for publication.
If you are attending the CGNA conference in April, members of the editorial board would like to meet you and hear how you move what you read in Perspectives into your nursing practice. We will be hosting a meet & greet on Friday afternoon, and you can also stop by at our table in the Exhibitor Hall between sessions.
To get involved with Perspectives as a reviewer or author, or you have questions, reach out to us at: [email protected].
Sincerely,
The Perspectives Editorial Board: Dawn Prentice, Roslyn M. Compton, and Lorna Guse
