Thank you for your interest in joining the Gerontological Nursing Association of British Columbia! With your membership to GNABC, you also become a member of the Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association (CGNA) and gain access to our resources.

As of March 2024, GNABC memberships are processed and managed by CGNA. For more information about GNABC, your provincial association, please visit their website.

Membership Options and Eligibility Criteria

Subscription Period: Renews annually on April 1

Member

  • All practicing and non-practicing members of the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC), College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC (CLPNBC), and College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC (CRPNBC)
  • RN, NP, RPN, LPN

Associate

  • Other persons and groups who have an interest in the health care of the older adult. They will be non-voting members and pay 50% of annual dues but do not have the right to hold office.

Student

  • In order to be eligible for Student membership, a person must be registered as a student member of the provincial nursing licensing body AND be enrolled in a nursing program. They will be voting members and they will pay 50% of the annual dues but do not have the right to hold office.

Members and associates (including students) are able to access members-only content; however, only “Members” may exercise voting rights in the governance of the CGNA.
